How to Win in Network Marketing

When I was 22 years old I was living with 5 other roommates in a 2 bedroom apartment. One day, one of my roommates came home and said, “We are all going to be RICH, because I just signed us all up, into a network marketing company.

Since we did not have jobs at the time, it made perfect sense. I said to myself, “who doesn’t want to be rich, we have no job, and no money, let’s do it”.

So we all started out on our journey in network marketing. In the beginning we had no clue what to do. Talk to everyone you see, was the training model. That only worked for a few months, and then we got burned out.

Over the years I struggled trying to find that magic formula, or secret to make network marketing work. I tried everything, cold calling, home meetings, classified ads. You name it I tried it. It took me a long time to step back and figure out that all these strategies just did not work. And its not because these strategies didn’t work, they just did not work for me.

Why did they not work for me? Because there is a secret formula. If you apply it, then all the techniques for building a network marketing business, will work every time.

Here is how to Win in Network Marketing

Focus + Action = Results

Let me go over each one for you. I spent most of my time failing in network marketing because I didn’t combine these together. Focus would be no problem for me, but action would lag behind. Sometimes I would have massive action, but no focus.

When you combine the 2, you get serious results!

Focus is having a total belief in what your doing is going to work. Network marketing is just like any other business. If you don’t believe that you can be successful, then you find no success.

When you take a picture with your digital camera, do you question if the pictures you take will come out looking good? No, you click the button, and you have a total belief that the pictures will be of high quality. Same is true with your network marketing business. You need to have a belief that you will be one of the top earners in your company no matter what.

Along your journey, to your end goal, it’s going to be difficult. People are going to tell you it does not work. You will have days when nothing seems to work, and you question your belief. If you put on your blinders and only focus on your end goals. Then nothing will be able to stop you from achieving success in network marketing.

Now that we have focus, its time to take massive action.

Darren hardy of success magazine has a great book out called compound effect. He asked this question. “Would you rather have a penny doubling each day for 31 days, or take $3million dollars today”? When you do the math, the penny doubling each day comes to over $10 million in 31 days.

That penny is you taking action each day and compounding your success over time. This the part in the formula that most people fail at. They take some action. Talk to a few people a month, or get on a training call once in awhile. To get massive results, it takes massive action.

Each day your action plan should consist of setting bench marks you need to achieve. How many people are you going to talk to? How may  leads will you call? How many articles are you going to write this week? How many videos will you create this week?

These are the action question you need to ask each day and then complete them. Because remember to Win in Network Marketing, you need both focus and action at the same time.
