Are you looking to get more free traffic to your website? If you are new to the internet, or excited about your new company website. Then you need people to visit your site site on a daily consistant basis.
The best free traffic you will find, is from google. Google is the largest search engine in the planet. 60 million people each day perform serches for different keywords. Getting on the first page of google for a keyword, will bring you mega website traffic. But getting to the first page of google can be a challenge.
Google will rank you based on how popular your website is on the internet. Each day an autoated web spider crawls the internet looking for backlinks to your site. When the spioder finds someone linking to your site, google gives you 1 vote. The more votes, or backlinks you have, the higher you will rank in the search engines.
Backlinks are referrals given by other websites. Google figures that if other websites are linking to you, then you must be popular.
As a network marketer your whole goal is to place as many links on other websites as you can. You many think, wow this could be hard, but its actually quite simple. The reason most will fail at getting traffic or rankings is they are not consistant.
Each day you want to place at least 5 links back to your website. And I will give you my 2 favorite ways to get backlinks.
1. Comment on Blogs
Do a search for other other blogs that are related to network marketing, mlm, or internet marketing. When you find a good list, visit each site to see what kind of activitiy is on the blog. Look for blog owners that at least post once a week or more. Look at the date of the last post. If it is in the past few days, then it should be an active blog.
Read the first post, then at the bottom you will see a comment box. This comment box is the place you can respond to the post, and add in your website link.
Make sure the comment if of high value. The owner needs to approve your comment, and anything that is just junk will be deleted. Once the blog owner sees you are going to contribute valuable information, they will then set your comments on auto approve.
2. Forum Posting
This is my 2nd most favorite way to build backlinks to my site. Search on the internet for forums in the same niche. Look for “mlm forums”, “network marketing forums”. Once you find a few, register, then go into your profile. Forums will let you add a signature with a link back to your website. Then each time you post a response on the forum your signature will show up.
Just like the blog, be active on the forum. Most people who post on forums are looking for answers to problems. You can spend all day giving solutions, and that is what you should do. But dont get caught up in a huge debate with people. All your trying to do it respond, and get your link active on the forum.
Over time google is going to spider these blogs and forums. Then start to build an index of all your backlinks. As your portfolio of link builds, you will start to see your ranking move up. And that is when the massive, free traffic starts to pour in.
